Alcohol is the deadliest drug causing injuries, health problems and even death among people around the world. Most people think that because cocaine, heroin and bang are not legalized, they are the most dangerous drugs, but this is not true. Alcohol is the only drug that can cause sudden death in its users due to its effects. As an example, people who drink in a bar are more likely to get into a fight and ultimately harm each other, while someone who uses cocaine will be at a lower risk of engaging in physical fights with coworkers. Alcohol-related incidents happen unknowingly only because the victim regrets the actions later when someone gets sober. The ability of a drug to be defined as harmful falls into the following three factors: the physical harm caused by the use of the drug, the levels of dependence on the drug, and the problems or impacts the drug has on the individual and society. Additionally, alcohol causes physical and other environmental harm.
