They actually believe that there are thousands of gods and goddesses of Hinduism who represent aspects of Brahman. This means that the faith of Hinduism is characterized by multiple idols. The best known and most important deities of Hinduism however are the Trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, all being the creator, preserver and destroyer. Not only do Hindus consider these three important roles in their religion, but they also worship animals, trees and spirits (Das). The trio they really focus on are three gods who are responsible for the beginning of Hinduism, its stewardship of the world, and the destruction of the world. The names of the three gods are Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. All three have three different roles. Brahma's task was to create the world and all creatures on it.
