An Introduction to Mah Jong The exciting game of Mah Jong has existed in one form or another for centuries. It is interesting, fun and stimulates the brain's cognitive processes. Over the years, it has stood the test of time and its longevity has made it popular even today, as the game has enjoyed a new resurgence among people of all ages. One of the most intriguing and challenging aspects of Mah Jong is that it is played with other people, generating a vibrant and social atmosphere not often observed in today's society. Although there are online versions, there is a very beneficial feeling when you hold the tiles in your hands and move them. That tangible quality of Mah Jong engages physically, mentally and, once again, socially. Those who play it heap effusive praise on the game. History before the 1920s Tile games of some kind dating back to about 1120 AD have been found in China, and Chinese dominoes have been played for centuries in that region. Mah Jong, however, bears a much greater resemblance to some card games, particularly those of the Rummy family. Before the appearance of Mah Jong, a variety of card games were played in China with at least four types of card decks. However, just like in Mah Jong, most of these were of the collectible type and some terms from these old card games are also used in Mah Jong. So, it doesn't seem unreasonable to place Mah Jong as the grandson of those card games. The conception event that combined the card-collecting methodology with the tile pieces is usually touted as a missing link and it certainly seems possible that Mah Jong could have been the result of such a unique event, although it is equally likely that nothing so simple has ever appeared... middle of paper... the original MahJong. Furthermore, it could be argued that MahJong influenced the development of the Rummy game by using the same concept of "wild cards" and the concept of discarding tiles. In my opinion, I think Mah Jong is a really exciting game that requires a lot of thought. , patience, flexibility and promptness. It becomes even more interesting if you constantly play with different players as each player has a different play style. Of course, you can play Mahjong for free or for real money at various limits, but however you play it, Mah Jong is a game that has been enjoyed by people for many centuries. I think I have successfully concluded the basic plays of MahJong and the history of the game before the 19th century. If I had to rate this game, I would give it 90/100 points as a game to play and 80/100 as an influential game for others.
