Qualities of a Good LeaderThe monkey sees the monkey doing; this is how people in a community follow their leader. They may not follow action for action, but in essence they do. If the leader is selfish and greedy, people will become selfish and greedy. If a leader is humble and has a mind and heart of serving people instead of being served, people's nature will become more friendly. A leader is responsible for governing and caring for those under him, Dictionary.com states that a leader is "a leader who guides or directs". A leader should lead by example; willingly serve, take responsibility and remain humble because people under them will begin to adopt and behave like their leader. A good leader is humble, willing to serve; one of the people, altruistic, firm, wise, continues and continues the list. The attributes and characteristics of a good leader are numerous, but we cannot have them all. No matter how hard we try, we cannot be a perfect leader. The only being capable of being the perfect leader is God. He meets all the qualifications of a leader; It is the example we should strive to imitate, especially people who are responsible for others. One leader in particular, King Arthur, is a great example of a leader who did very well as a man. There were times when his judgment and actions were questioned, but he still managed. Now, success is not what defines a good or bad leader; it is simply the fruit of their labor. In the story of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Arthur's decision to send Gawain (who was the "runt of the litter") to face the Green Knight's challenge raised some questions.
