Google's innovation begins within the organization: staff who work hard to develop their concepts spend about 20% on their project's interest. Google Glass has started sales in the United States but is still in beta testing. Google Glass will have a substantial impact on today's society. Google Glass will change the real world from medicine, to journalism, to retail, and real estate, to name a few. Medicine has dived into this new Google Glass technology. As stated by Roberson (2013) “In October, UCSF's Pierre Theodore, a cardiothoracic surgeon, became the first doctor to use Glass during surgery. The surgeon pre-loaded the patient's images before surgery and used them as a reference during the surgery.” Google Glass has had an impact on society, revolutionizing the medical industry and making it easier to transmit images. Although Google Glass has made it possible for doctors to use it during their operations, there are still some privacy concerns. It will take time to develop programs that protect against security breaches, but doctors have not connected to the cloud to prevent patient images from being uploaded. Google Glass is a critical and growing process. Google Glass, although it says at the beginning that it will need improvements, of course, is never perfect at the beginning and improvements will continue to be added in the process. The natural process of technology is constantly evolving and differs from other technological changes. Like the medical industry, Google Glass has created a space for journalism that uses Google Glass to take photos, do interviews and directional information to help find the location of the story.
