Hackers may have the ability to alter treatments to be started on patients if they are able to alter documents: patients must therefore be informed and agree to any treatment protocols to be started. In fact, if a medical center wanted to take this many steps forward, it could have electronic components made specifically for this type of action. They could have created for them electronic components and consoles suited to their needs, something unique and not known to anyone. The company that would make such components would have to come from industries that are unrelated to all others and that only know what is needed for their sole purpose. People who write software should know only what is required and nothing more. It may be possible to produce the effect of encryption without encrypting anything; so adding cryptography to these types of structures has the potential to give cryptography a more comprehensive effect; at least for temporary times.
