Explain what is meant by recruitment, online recruitment and describe the advantages of online recruitment. Support your answer with examples and evidence from the case study. One of the most important things in a company or business is hiring suitable employees. Any successful organization must pay great attention to the selection of its employees because the success of any company directly depends on the performance and quality of its employees. And to have the right employees, the company must attract the widest range of candidates for jobs. This is the first step of the employee hiring process which is called: Recruitment. Recruitment is the process of attracting and referring candidates with appropriate qualifications for needed jobs in a company. Recruiting also involves the process of targeting special and well-qualified candidates by using encouragement techniques for qualified recruits to encourage them to apply for needed jobs. For example from our case study; “To drive graduate hiring, Enterprise Company has developed a dedicated branding and recruitment website that shows potential employees the benefits of career opportunities with Enterprise and provides a means for students to submit their applications. It also features profiles of Enterprise employees with their career stories." All this will have a great effect on qualified recruits to encourage them to apply for jobs, which results in better quality of candidates for the needed jobs.
