After completing this Bible course I have gained some very useful information for my own knowledge and for my family's use. I had the opportunity to read passages in the Bible that I had never read before and I had the opportunity to understand them and learn the message of the Lord in a clearer forum. I admitted a few times during the lesson that I was embarrassed because I didn't know some Bible scriptures, but it was a learning process. I'm no longer embarrassed because this has only made me think about becoming a better Christian and putting more effort into reading my Bible. I should have done it a long time ago, but I couldn't. By following the expectations I have set for myself, I will become a better and better person, a mother, a friend and even a wife to my husband. Only good will come from it. Having the Bible in your family and home creates a sense of warmth and connection that some cannot understand. A family needs the Lord and His guidance to keep them close and in harmony. I see big families get together for barbecues and go out to eat and it's a special bond that they have with each other and it's amazing that they created it with God and his teachings. The Lord tells us that there is nothing more important than family and unity. I wish people could be like they were in the early years with their families and attend church services together, there was no need to be afraid like people are today to go out and do things. Evil has gotten worse and is out there and the devil is behind all this violence, murder and harm to our children. We Christians need to stand together and make a difference in the world as we try to unite and spread the Gods in the middle of the paper, but that would never happen. My daughter always said she wanted to be a lawyer, study at Harvard Law School, and help many people in need throughout her life. This year she applied to Harvard's summer school program for high school students who want to get collage credit early and was accepted! I was very excited for her and the new adventures she will begin, but in a way sad because I will miss her and a little worried because this world is not so safe anymore. He is only sixteen years old and will leave the comforts of home to live on Harvard's Boston campus. It will be a big change, but it will open her eyes and also allow her to have perspective on her life. I pray for her safety and repeatedly ask God to watch over her and keep her safe from harm and that her eyes, hands, ears and mouth be away from sinful things that I cannot control here from house.
