Topic > The effect and solution of eating habit in Indonesia

1. IntroductionThis report examines the effects and provides solutions for dietary habits in Indonesia. People around the world eat different types of food in different ways at different times. (Luitel, 2006). Food is not only functional for consumption but also as a culture that possibly develops the eating habits of local populations (Hartog, Staveren and Brouwer, 2006). According to The Indonesian Consumer Behavior, Attitudes and Perceptions To Food Products (2011), traditional Indonesian foods such as peanuts, cassava, and chili peppers are a blend of cultures from various countries around the world because Indonesia is located along major trade routes. From traditional food, Indonesians develop their own eating habits such as consuming rice as a staple food. However, some Indonesian eating habits can potentially create side effects on our health, such as cholesterol, obesity and diabetes. To prevent the effects of Indonesian eating habits, they must limit their food consumption and use alternative ingredients in creating their foods. The findings of this report show the eating habits of Indonesian people, the effects of their eating habits, and how limiting food consumption and using alternative ingredients will prevent the effect of their eating habits.2. MethodologyThis report uses online research as the source of the report. The report itself chooses the criteria of food preferences in Indonesia based on the types of food commonly consumed in Indonesia.3. Definition of Eating Habit Eating habit comes from two words which are food and habit.
