Frank MasonENT - 31402/19/2014Historical Case Study - Internet The Internet in its most basic form is a hub where individuals can communicate with each other. The Internet is in a sense a global network of networks that connects millions (if not billions) of computers and people around the world. Unlike many other services that exist across the planet (both physical and digital), the Internet is decentralized and is not owned entirely by one person. In fact, there is an organization known as W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) that serves as a regulatory body for the entire Internet by establishing international Internet protocols that set the standard for how web pages should be developed (using the latest version of HTML ), how networks can communicate with each other, and works with many software development organizations around the world on how their products can be used with the HTML mainstream in an accessible and secure way. Furthermore, the W3C also creates its own software, which includes tidy, jigsaw, validator, etc. to help make pages more organized, load faster, and facilitate portability when it's time to update your software or HTML. Each individual computer, called a host, is independent. It is only when a user connects to the network that they are officially connected to a network. A user can choose which Internet services to use through software known as a Web browser (Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome) that allows the user the ability to access the Internet. Additionally, in today's technological world there are numerous ways to access the Internet. Most online services offer access to Internet services such as NetZero or MagicJack. You can also access via… paper medium… I believe that with time, the growth of technology will make the Internet more accessible and have a greater reach across the globe. However, there are individuals at the time of writing who do not have the sufficient access needed to survive and obtain well-paying jobs in a growing demand for skills in the technological world. I would like to work collaboratively with the W3C and major Internet companies around the world to find solutions to this ongoing problem and bring computers and the Internet to every individual who will need the technology to access the Internet. I say this because you never know, there could be somewhere out there that could have access to a wide range of technologies that could become the next Leonard Kleinrock or Steve Jobs, but the world will never know of their possible genius because they simply access correctly. to technology.
