On December 17, 1903, Orville and Wilbur Wright were two pioneering aviation brothers credited with inventing the world's first successful airplane. Although the Wright brothers were given credit for this wonderful invention, the two brothers had been scientifically experimenting with the concepts of flight since the year 1899. Although the Wright brothers were not the first to build and fly airplanes, what set them apart from all other experiments and errors. Their key breakthrough was the invention of three-axis control, which allows the pilot to steer the plane and maintain its balance. The method they created has still become the solution today on fixed-wing aircraft of all types. By plane, reaching any place is easier and faster. The airplane appears to be a great invention that may have opened the doors for many more inventions to come. I am happy to read this article because at the end of my reading I come away with a lot of knowledge that I did not know about the Wright brothers and their first flight. I was able to learn the whole story behind just knowing that they invented the first airplane. I learned how the brothers made their invention and how their success didn't come overnight, they had to work for it. They had to learn from other experimenters and their trial and error. They simply learned from the mistakes of others and from all the knowledge gained over the years of working in printing jobs. The Wright brothers were very intellectual guys who put in the effort to think and made such a wonderful invention. This article was very informative and gives the reader a clear understanding of how the Wright brothers successfully flew the first airplane. The tools I used were an article from the Internet, the National Park Service, a North Carolina memorial web page for the Wrights. The innovation of airplanes started from that moment and up to the point of thinking, thanks to their invention, now our airplanes are as they are more modern than ever and simply continue to change inside
