UNT's Master of Science with a specialization in Business Analytics focusing on the fields of business intelligence and business analytics will enhance my technical and management skills and is best suited to my long-term career aspirations. The modules offered in the course are very well designed and are of interest to me. The Big Data Analytics module which covers topics like conventional data warehousing, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and predictive analytics for unstructured data will help me gain knowledge about software tools that can be used for banking services. Data mining module that emphasizes extracting information from large databases and designing data-driven decision support systems, which will help me analyze trends in banking services, such as what services and benefits current customers are likely to want, what models in credit transactions lead to fraud, what is the profile of a high risk borrower operator.The Business Intelligence Business Applications module which teaches concepts, methodologies and tools to efficiently and effectively implement business intelligence activities will enable me as a credit scientist data to generate, aggregate, analyze and visualize data to help companies make better management decisions. The Information Systems Development and Database Management Fundamentals modules will strengthen my knowledge of the system design process and database management which includes systems planning, requirements analysis, user interface design, data design, process design , system testing and analysis, database design, development and implementation enterprise application-oriented file organizations.
