Architecture is a multidimensional field that impacts the functions of everyday life. We live in an era of constant growth and change aided by design. The application of architecture and design is a crucial component in the construction of our society and other fields of study. Get an original essay I am originally from Bangalore, one of the most recently developed cities after the information revolution, in India. For this reason I have had multicultural conditioning, which is an aspect of the city I have lived in since childhood. The city, its vitality and its constant need to experiment and evolve has been the underlying theme of my architectural style. My affinity with design and technology has been profound since childhood. I participated in several art competitions and was an avid technology enthusiast. I completed my studies from Sri Aurobindo Memorial School in 2008. My academic performance was consistent right from the start and I worked hard as I do even now. I finished my studies with notable awards and grades. This boosted my confidence to take a hard look at what I like to learn. There were many family members who were architects and involved in building design, so my exposure to architecture happened from childhood. Architecture has complementary components of both structural and aesthetic elements, I believed that our buildings were initially visualized based on their structural feasibility. So I entered KS Polytechnic College for a Diploma in Civil Engineering (2010-2013). During my course, I represented the college as a student ambassador helping prospective students. Through the diploma I gained experience of leadership, teamwork and diligence. Architecture in a broader scope is often a fusion of people's ideas and styles. During this time I completed several online courses on architecture and software. My determination to gain on-site exposure and my strong academic know-how helped me get a summer internship at SR Constructions Pvt. Ltd, a leading real estate development and architecture firm based in Bangalore, as a construction engineer. site (May 2014-August 2015) After completing a diploma, I was already part of the informal fraternity of architects. However my thirst for more knowledge and a broader vision guided me to my Bachelor of Architecture from a reputed college, School of Architecture & Planning, Bangalore. I took my curiosity further. I equipped myself theoretically and practically by doing an internship with various architects, in earth sciences and in the way we perceive sustainability. During the first two years of my course, I successfully completed an intensive training course at the Auroville Earth Institute (Arches, Vaults, & Domes) under Ar. Lara Davis. I was also part of Team ZONASA (2014) for the Reuben Trophy. Representing the college I won a guest award at ETHOS's ARCHUMEN quiz competition in Bangalore 2016. Through the arduous journey of architecture as a course, I have grown from a student to an aspiring architect who wants to see a change in the realm of architecture and the its impact on the context built around us.
