“Wash your hands, put on your nightgown; Don't look so pale. I tell you again, Banquo is buried; he cannot come out of anyone's grave” (Act V; Scene 1) Banquo was murdered for a stupid reason, he did nothing wrong to receive this punishment which he deserved. The king had no idea what would happen to him, he just thought it was a normal night. He was the king and someone else wanted the kingship; Lady Macbeth would have killed for that place. Murder is the darkest and most terrible crime that leads to more illicit acts. “Let death and nature contend with them, whenever they live or die” (Act II; Scene II) nature deals with two paths, one is bright and the other is dark. Lady Macbeth and Macbeth choose the dark path; they had dark desires that led them to kill an innocent soul. Darkness overtook them and they committed the worst crime. If Macbeth had not listened to Lady Macbeth then he would have chosen the path of light. They didn't care about him at all, they just wanted to have the throne and be able to have the power to do whatever they wanted. They were willing to kill an innocent person
