I have a job, school, kids, a house, a husband, 3 dogs, a cat, a fish, and a to-do list a mile long, but just like everyone; I only have 24 hours a day to balance it all. The most obvious solution, which tends to be the most difficult, would be to ask for help. Realize now that you are only one person and if you have the ability to utilize a support system, take advantage of it sooner rather than later! I initially thought that admitting I needed help would make me a less capable parent, but I came to realize from an enlightening article that "The capable person uses all the resources at his disposal." (Stauffer & Bryer 2015) My level of stress and anxiety about unfinished tasks has decreased dramatically by taking advantage of a grandmother who is happy to take her grandchildren to swimming and piano lessons, a bi-weekly housekeeper, and a husband who willingly takes the command the role of the laundry
