Students in dual enrollment courses must meet both college and high school expectations. Standards are much higher for college courses than for high school classes, which students are accustomed to adhering to. Finally, the amount of time allowed to work on assignments is not under the full control of dual-enrolled participants, although due dates may allow for more time. High school is a stressful time for any student. Why do we allow students to endure even more stress from dual enrollment classes that can be easily accommodated through a dual enrollment pass?
