I mainly wanted to study journalism. Journalism is not available at the University of Kent, Canterbury. However, sociology can lead me to journalism later as it would give me the opportunity to understand people and their behaviors. I wanted to be accepted in Canterbury and not Medway considering that I have a better environment and the right mind to get this degree. Getting a degree in sociology won't change much, but it would allow me to dig to the heart of the matter
