Although Poland's economy has developed more over the years, there is still a lot of room to grow. Many factors play into how to measure economic development, such as the following: the availability of education and healthcare for a country's citizens, the use of appropriate technologies, access to banking, credit and microcredit, the women's emancipation and income distribution. Economic development requires solid institutional foundations provided by the government. A very important source of economic development is the quality and quantity of nationally available resources in a county. A less developed country will face many challenges in trying to establish a stable economy both internally and externally. This is also defined as national and international. These countries may face poverty traps, which are self-reinforcing devices that contribute to the persistence of poverty in that nation.
