1.0 Introduction To design a graphic image, it is important to incorporate various types of visual elements into the particular image such as posters, banners, advertisements, billboards and so on to create a an image that can represent a situation and at the same time provide the viewer with some key points or messages about the situation. Each of these visual elements plays its own role in indicating some signs or providing some implicit messages to the viewer. The types of visual elements used in graphic design are dot, line, shape and form, motion, space, pattern, and texture; These elements have been applied in advertising, picture painting, manufactured product packaging, book cover, gift packaging and so on. These items have become so useful for people because they are not only used to attract them but are also used in raising awareness by highlighting or promoting important issues or events. For example, when members of the Ministry of Health are worried about the spread of dengue fever, they display banners to raise awareness among people to take precautions. These types of banners contain certain visual elements that are combined to create distinct typography and various types of colors and shapes, which fit the intended theme. Another example is the display of banners reminding us of the importance of donating blood. One of the most important uses of visuals is in the teaching and learning process in preschool, schools (primary and secondary), colleges and universities. Since the advent of digital imaging, visuals have been widely used to create presentations for teachers and lecturers to teach their students in a way that is easy even for ... half of the paper ......n be used in typography. It's a creative idea in using typographic design to represent movement. To design a typeface that represents movement, the typeface should be in a diagonal position, indicating that it is creating movement. For example, refer to Figure 30 below.
