Question 1: What did you learn from meeting with your project mentor, including the presentation you gave to your project mentor? I believed that the mentor played a very important role during my Research and Analysis Report (RAP). I benefited from his guidance throughout my RAP, from choosing the topic to submitting my report; which allows me to work confidentially. His guidance in directing my approach proved to be very helpful in utilizing my time efficiently. I believe that the mentor's advice plays an important role, since if I could lay a solid foundation, the rest of my project work would probably be on track. I discussed my list of topics with my mentor in line with my interests and knowledge, I also considered my future preferences, my mentor expressed his thoughts and highlighted some potential advantages and limitations on the topics listed below . Selecting an organization is the next step where I have many choices I was looking for an organization that can be an interesting option my mentor helped me to make a decision, I discussed the limitation of selecting competitors of different company sizes. My mentor advised me on critical conceptual areas which helped me to plan, complete and monitor my work on this RAP and this will help me in my future to plan any project management. My mentor also highlighted some limitations of the approach and method used in my research to avoid any errors in my research or report writing. I learned to use some advanced features of computer software that I was not aware of, I am more comfortable with my computer skills now, using them to prepare my RAP, my mentor shows me in advance the use of very computer software basic ones, for example Excel, which make the action complete...... halfway through the paper ...... asking for reliable data for my research report. It made me realize the importance of reference work that has a high level of credibility. I can see the positive effects of this research work in my professional life, this experience has relevance to whatever field I choose to pursue, for example financial management, accounting, auditing, etc. I have handled this report independently, which shows that I am ready to take on independent assignments in the industry. I can manage the stress and pressure of the workload and have the ability to complete it on time whilst producing good quality work. I improved my computer skills and had the chance to explore some very useful features that I might not have otherwise used; these features increase the productivity and quality of my work. I also came across some industry-relevant software that I am planning to get trained on.
