Only because most countries do not require people to pay for such education. In other countries they don't have to pay to get a degree, but it is paid for through taxes, just like free healthcare. The education there isn't bad either. America may have wonderful universities, but when has anything negative ever been said about international universities? Think about it, America is seeing low demand for jobs and low wages. Today's children are tomorrow's future, so why should they be at a disadvantage? From a moral perspective, free education is the right thing to do, but it is not impossible either
