Why or why not? I do not believe that all of the nonverbal communication signals listed are appropriate for electronic communication. Nonverbal communication includes the impressions that the individual observes. These signals can be misinterpreted depending on how the person receiving the message feels at the time. This can lead to a misunderstanding that could have been avoided altogether.
