1. Introduction1.1. Context As we live in the information age, IT has become a part of our daily lives, having a great impact on our society. And nowadays, the world has become a “global village” thanks to the advancement of IT. Therefore, while technology is playing a more important role in society at large, a good solution to improve the IT skills of young generations is to provide courses or programs on information technology itself in education as it offers new avenues to explore; academic, social and recreational. To achieve the goal, Universiti Teknologi Mara and Management & Science University (MSU) had offered an IT-related program for students. In UiTM, such that the IT related program offered to students is Bachelor of Science Information System Management (Hons) with minor in Document Management or Library Management. This program covers the design, development and also management of various types of information systems in order to train students to identify, acquire, organize, store and retrieve in order to disseminate information for users' strategic and competitive purposes Meanwhile in MSU , a similar IT program offered here is Bachelor in Information and Communication Technology (Hons). This program helps students develop their skills such as problem solving, sequencing, deductive reasoning, and memorization. Students will also be trained in group work which will better improve their cooperation, collaboration and co-learning and lead to the development of negotiation skills and group decision making.1.2. Definition of Terms Information system management (ISM) is fundamentally about information system knowledge... middle of paper... and graduates need to be one step ahead of students at other universities. It is impossible to make all the changes and improvements in the meantime, but you can do it step by step to keep up on the journey to the global IT world.3.3. Costs and Benefits The fees required to complete the degree in Information and Communication Technologies (Hons) at MSU are slightly higher than those for attending the program at UiTM. At MSU, students must pay on their own. If they give a loan like PTPTN or what else, it will be a burden for them in future as they will have to pay a lot. While in UiTM the fares are much cheaper and also the government will cover a part of the fares.4. Appendices4.1.
