When they walk through the school doors, it doesn't matter whether they are rich or poor, whether they are white or students of color, or whether they are documented or undocumented, they are all students. However, beyond my feelings, there are several specific reasons why undocumented students should be allowed to attend school. Taxes Get Paid Not all undocumented immigrants pay taxes, I'm sure, but neither do all citizens. It appears that enough undocumented workers pay taxes that, as a group, they should be considered taxpayers, and taxpayers' children have a right to an education. Schools do not operate on the basis of citizenship documentation. Those documents do nothing to provide assistance and education to students. Schools are run with taxpayer money, and anyone who invests in that fund should be able to reap the benefits
