At the beginning I will talk about the business where I like to shop. There are actually several businesses that every time I'm in or around town I have to stop by whether I need something or not. One such business is Atwood's Home Ranch and Store. The people working in the store are very knowledgeable and willing to help locate and provide their knowledge of the product or products that you as a customer are looking to purchase. It's always good when you can walk into a store and not feel like you're being judged by employees if you have to ask a question about a product regarding what it is, how it works, and whether it's what you need for the business you're currently on working. You can walk into Atwood with questions about something and walk out of there feeling like you really have an understanding of things. I grew up on a farm and this shop was always helpful in helping us with farm work and seemed to be a stop on weekend trips into town. Employees who are willing to help are an important part of being a successful and reliable company and that is what Atwood offers. They also usually have anything and everything I might need or want available. They have items that meet the needs of farmers, sportsmen, athletes, lawn and garden supplies, tools and hardware, pet supplies, sporting goods, apparel of all types, and several seasonal categories in their merchandise assortment. I'm a huge lover of the outdoors and love messing around in the yard, gardening, mowing the lawn, anything that gets me outdoors, so it's almost like this store was tailor-made for me. I love that I can come into Atwood with an idea for one thing and find many other ideas that can be helpful to me. The wide variety of merchandise in... half of the paper... I have a hard time walking past them when I'm in town. Then there are several activities that I can't stand and that I will try to avoid at all costs. Atwood's and US Cellular were just the first two companies I thought of when I started brainstorming for this assignment and which companies I wanted to talk about. There will always be businesses out there that draw certain people towards them and then there will be others that drive people away. I'm sure some people would disagree with my opinions on these two businesses, but that's what makes America great. There are several places to choose from to receive the services that meet your specific needs and wants. The bottom line is that all businesses should always have the customer in mind, some businesses do and some don't. This is what creates the business I like and the business I hate.
