Overindulging refers to giving a child too much, too soon, and for too long. There are three different types of overindulgence: overgiving, overfeeding, and having little structure. All of these can affect the way a child develops, especially suffocation, for me this is big because you never allow the child to find a sense of independence or their own identity. Parents who overindulge are helpless when it comes to parenting. It is believed that the more parents maintain this attitude, the more they adopt a permissive parenting style. Choosing permissive parenting styles and authoritarian parenting styles create children with poor social skills, low self-esteem, children who do poorly in school and are more likely to engage in problem behaviors. There are many risks in overindulging your children: not knowing the difference between needs and wants, needing constant stimulation and entertainment from others, not taking responsibility for your own actions, and many others. Now in the classroom it will be extremely different for the student because it is not what they are used to, but it is up to the teacher to make sure the rules are clearly stated and posted in the classroom so the child knows what is acceptable. Another useful thing in the classroom is to allow children to solve their own problems. Being too involved can change a man
