My mother and father divorced when I was five; It was hard not having my dad around because he lived in Iowa and I lived with my mom in Arkansas. Usually when parents separate it is the children who suffer, my father made it as easy as possible because he was there for us whenever we needed him; no matter how far away it was. Even when he lived several hours away from us, he never missed a beat. He often drove those 6 hours just to see us. When we were sick, he was there, doing whatever it took to make things better. I don't know where I would be without him; I am grateful every single day that I was chosen to be His
