I know for a fact that the readings will not be easy to understand and you will have to reread them several times. I try to do my best in my first English class at university because if I want to improve my skills I can't start by relaxing and get on with doing a good job. My goal as a writer is to add sensory details because I couldn't do that in high school, to use transition words, and to be able to respond to prompts that say analyze. As a reader I hope to acquire more academic vocabulary so I can add new words to my essays, understand stories at a faster pace, and make connections with stories I've read to provide better examples when I need to respond
