The advantages for entrepreneurship are that there are two different types of business models: SMEs and FDI. There is also the option to create your own salary, make your own business decisions and work on your own schedule. Some of the risks are impulsive schedules, stress in making precise decisions, and leaving a stable salary to follow a dream. (Aulet, 2013) The advantages for SMEs are that it takes little time to get things started and there is less risk involved, while the advantages for FDI are that there is a sustainable competitive advantage and exponential growth. The risk associated with SMEs is that the company can be controlled by external entities and there is usually no growth potential. The risks are greater with FDI because much more investment is needed and it generally takes longer to take the FDI out of the market
