Overpopulation is a growing problem around the world. This is a very important environmental issue and must be addressed. This environmental problem is affecting many countries around the world, but especially poor and impoverished countries that do not have the resources to help address these problems. It also affects the environment such as plants, animal life and air quality. As the human population expands, we need more natural resources from the environment, so we consume more than we can produce. This leads to a lack of resources in many areas. When we expand we create a lot of pollution in the air, water and land. Pollution affects the health of many human beings. Overpopulation is causing more damage than any other environmental problem. Overpopulation also causes many of the other problems we deal with. This is very dangerous not only for us humans but for the planet. Even though many rich countries are not affected by this overpopulation, I believe they should help the cause. There are always two sides to a matter like this. Some people don't think overpopulation is a big problem and those who do say it is a problem that needs to be addressed. Poor countries suffer from overpopulation. Overpopulation remains the main driver of hunger, desertification, species depletion and a host of social ills across the planet (Tal, 2013). If you look at the world, most countries are facing these problems due to overpopulation. Poor countries have neither the money nor the resources to help them overcome this problem (Tal, 2013). Furthermore, poor countries do not have the medicines or technology needed to even prevent the most common diseases (Tal, 2013). Malnutrition is also affecting...... half of the document ...... Technology will help us as much as we help each other. Overpopulation will continue to be a growing problem around the world if we don't come together and help each other. This is a difficult task but it can be tackled. This is the most important environmental issue because it leads to many others. It leads to species loss, land shortage, lack of resources, deforestation, health problems, pollution and famine. Overpopulation is a growing problem that we can stop. The only way to stop this is for humans to take action and try to help each other.
