Whether you're walking down the street, driving on the highway, or shopping, there's usually one or more cameras recording you. In most cities there are cameras that record for security purposes. On highways and busy roads there are road cameras that also photograph cars for safety reasons. Video cameras are positioned in almost all stores to prevent shoplifting. Even if we are recorded daily, this is not always a violation of privacy. Traffic cameras are usually only checked when a traffic violation has occurred, and if you have committed a violation, it is only you who have been videotaped. The same goes for store and restaurant cameras: If you're suspected of shoplifting, it's the stores' right to review the recordings.
