In recent years, superhero movies have become extremely popular. We also live in a time of seemingly constant war. Our culture “from a sociological perspective, is composed of beliefs, norms, behaviors and products common to members of a particular group”. they may view Heroism similarly based on these events. No matter where you live in this world, war and conflict affect us in one way or another. In this, a hero is often described as someone who risks his own life, while fighting for the freedom of others. So is Caitlyn Jenner a hero? By definition his actions fit the description, however, his actions do not compare to those of a soldier in battle who saves multiple lives by risking his own.
