For example, I had a rough start with her because I have never had a teacher who was so welcoming, but because of her kind heart, she found a way to get to know me too when I didn't have to describe details about myself. If it wasn't for her I probably wouldn't be where I am today. It encouraged me to see a little further down the road, as well as imagine how I wanted to spend the rest of my life. In my eyes, she fulfilled the role of problem solver. I think for a teacher this is great because it makes students feel more comfortable and keeps them more engaged in the classroom with activities and lessons. My educational philosophy contains many things: obviously, getting an education, being active in learning, getting student feedback, a stable learning environment, and a student-teacher emotional connection. I really want my students to be involved because that shows me if they are learning. Somehow I would like to receive feedback from my students because I would be able to understand where they are with the learning process. Also, I would like that student-teacher emotional connection because I want to be able to relate to my students in some way or just understand what they have experienced in their lives.
