The patient's memory was intact, including his recent and remote events. He was able to remember several events from his life; his childhood, how he was sent to a foster home, the death of his mother, when he started smoking weed, dropping out of high school, the recent fight with his brother that led to him being kicked out of the house, and his arrival at SBP. The patient's memory was tested. I asked him to remember 3 things: pencil, bird and house. His immediate recall was 3/3 and short term recall was 3/3. 8. The patient had hallucinations. The patient had auditory and visual hallucinations. The patient stated that God was telling him to become his priest. The patient claimed to see the devil and his corners. 9. The patient's intuition was good. The patient was aware of his illness; he knew what mental illnesses he had and when he was diagnosed. The patient was aware of his responsibility and how his behavior affected others. He was aware that he and his brother fought over him smoking weed and leading his brother to kick him out.
