There are no distinctions between what is true and what is false. Well, in some cases this may not be correct. You might wonder why every decision is based on something that is only true, if there is nothing to distinguish what is true from what is false. There is reasoning, perception and emotion to deal with processing facts from a source where lies are told. So first a person should know the true definition of each of these terms. Truth according to many dictionaries is a factual act or reality. The word false is a pronouncement or declaration of what is not true. Then, after the meanings of true and false have been justified, the question can be evaluated. But if a person wants to contrast the two, then it is a question of how the human mind understands certain information. The topic that will be presented is based on the area of knowledge, ways of knowing and also the individual and community. Within the community, there is truly no other way to advance and be fortunate in today's toxic environment. There are scammers who grow in different associations just to manipulate the truth and this is terrible for the community where people live. This is often what we mean when we speak the truth as opposed to the false. In the Baptist community, the King James Version of the Holy Bible, the written word of God is to be every man's guide as to what is true and false, right and wrong, good and evil. In I John 2:21, the Bible tells us “that no lie is of the truth.” When it comes to human science, humans only have a taste of what's to come with the limited minds we have. We as humans cannot grasp the big picture. On the other hand, God knows everything; present, past and future. This is the truth… at the heart of the card… the individual has the ability to allow their own perception and reasoning to come into play in making a choice about what is right and what is wrong. People must use their own perception and beliefs to evaluate all kinds of truths that the public has established in our heads to believe. The truth will always prevail and false teachings will be taught, but it is up to the public to use their own good morals and reasoning to not be swayed by what sounds good. In other words, the truth cannot be false and a lie cannot be truth. Works Cited Robinson, Dave & Garratt, Chris (2005). Presentation of ethics. The Inflexible Rules (pp. 85) Neiman, Susan (2008).
