IntroductionAccording to the Management Consultancy Association, “management consulting is the creation of value for organizations through the application of knowledge techniques and resources to improve business performance. This can be achieved through the provision of objective advice and/or the implementation of business solutions” (O'Mahoney 2010). However, Greiner and Metzger (1983) defined management consultancy as a consultancy service contracted and provided to the organization by specially trained personnel. and qualified individuals who objectively and independently assist the client organization to identify management problems, recommend solutions to these problems, and assist when required in implementing the solution. The types of projects undertaken by the consultant may involve offering specialist technical expertise such as developing IT systems or generating cultural change within an organisation, helping organizations build relationships with external parties, etc. (Wickham and Wickham 2008). They can serve as change agents, coaches, educators or facilitators within an organization. Management consulting encompasses a wide range of activities that can be described in different ways. One way is to focus on an area of ​​expertise that includes business strategy, service quality, human resource management, or operations management. Another way is to see the process as a sequence of stages that include initiation, contracting, diagnosis, data collection, feedback, recommendation, and implementation (Edvardsson 1989).
