Does globalization negatively affect civilizations? The term globalization indicates the procedure of connections and incorporations between individuals, organizations and legislatures of different countries, a methodology brought about by global exchange and speculation and aided by data innovations. In other words, it is a process of interaction between people, on the basis of the fact that they live on the same planet, regardless of the limits and spaces that separate them. The term globalization was a rarely known articulation on which could be used simply as part of a savings field. Unfortunately, it has had several negative impacts on specific fields, as a result, in matters of human health, public interests and cultural affairs, globalization has turned out to be subversive, rather than a beneficial component. All in all, numerous nations around the world are affected by globalization, especially the aspects of damaging cultures, immigration, and global trade. Changing and destroying cultures is the most dangerous problem produced by globalization. Harming cultures is divided into two main issues, the first is the materialistic theme, and the second is the transfer of cultures from developed and strong countries to poor and developing countries. According to Rifkin (2003), globalization is about the creation of consumer values that people must be rewarded because the origin of happiness lies in money and material progress. Furthermore, this will transform human society to such a degree that many people fear discrimination between rich and poor nations (Rifkin, 2003). This means that globalization can harm the society that has led to the love of money to create happiness. The second issue that is... middle of the paper... is the trade barrier: Jordanian workers are now being replaced by Syrian workers who receive lower wages. Therefore, globalization has some advantages; its negative effects could be harsh on our society. In conclusion, harmful cultures, immigration and global trade are the main factors that have suffered from the harsh impact of globalization, protests against globalization are increasing, especially from the poor who receive low incomes. On the other hand, wealthy people have seen a huge increase in their incomes. Illegal immigration has had negative effects on particular factors such as public interests. Similarly, globalization has led people to misunderstand the concept of happiness, which has altered the human mind into believing that materialistic subjects are the main source of happiness. In the end, people have to admit that globalization has turned out to be subversive.
