One of the biggest differences I see between today's films and those of the past is the main aspect they want to master. Films like Life is Beautiful by Roberto Benigni fascinate viewers like me with its plot, on the contrary, films like Avatar intrigue the audience. viewers thanks to its advanced computer graphics. However, I believe that a good film is based on a great plot, a plot that amazes the viewers. In Life is Beautiful, the plot is strengthened by great characters who exemplify Benigni's intentions. A comic tragedy that explores the idea of ​​the protective power of love and humor - Life is Beautiful - demonstrates its plot and theme through characterization. Round characters like Guido and Joshua. The main protagonist is Eliseo who tries to protect his family through love and humor. Even in difficult times like the Holocaust, Guido maintains his happiness. There are also characters like Eliseo who is a flat character because we always see the elderly as people with experience. In this particular case, Elisha is the only one who sees the Holocaust and its danger. Furthermore, Eliseo is a flat character because he maintains his kindness until the end even with the Nazis.
