When hackers are targeting personal information, such as credit card information from online purchases, there are some effective methods. Using prime numbers to mask information is a relatively good idea since it is difficult for hackers to determine which prime numbers were used. However, the problem that is arising is that larger numbers are being used and there may be problems with this method. There most likely comes a point where the prime is too large for standard computers to use or hackers may be able to crack the prime codes. Another problem is the lack of active online safeguards to protect people and various forms of technology. There are no active cops or online groups actively patrolling the web like a cop would in a neighborhood. This would allow the creation of “hotspot” areas that would be managed by the owners of the area, such as a website or a facility equipped with technology. This allows hackers to target people and different forms of technology due to the possible low risk of being detected
