Woolf states that Dunkin Donuts and McDonald's are among SBUX's main competitors in the arena and all compete to be the main market holders (2014). Although there are several factors that can lead an individual to choose one over another, it is believed that SBUX will win a good portion of the time, but this can also depend on other factors, such as whether other people want to have something different to consume. None of the challengers come close to what SBUX offers based on personal opinion due to their reasons for having a passion for the company. Dunkin Donuts and McDonald's do not offer specialized beverages or necessarily the consumption options that SBUX offers on a daily basis. The feeling that a company personalizes a product while it is being made certainly occupies a primary position compared to others because it leaves the individual with a special and spoiled feeling. Other reasons include business ethics and the range and versatility of products sold to consumers. In all honesty, purchasing a coffee container from the company would be preferable because it can be used repeatedly and has an aesthetic appearance.
