One difference I noticed is in the way they describe management. Mintzberg uses real life examples to explain some things about management. Lussier instead describes management as a series of steps. The similarities I found between the two are that no job is more vital to us than that of a manager. And also the one where it comes to distinguishing leaders from managers.
