Personally I didn't support the experiment for that specific reason, but in my opinion I believe that the blame lies partly in the hands of Watson and Rayner and partly in Little's mother Albert hands. His mother allowed Watson and Rayner to perform their experiment on her son, little Albert, so it was the least she could have done. That part, however, was excluded from the experiment; little Albert's mother did not apply it and therefore suffered the consequences
