I am from India. I am fortunate to have been born in a time when India is transforming into a global power. Thanks to the reforms of the Indian government, since my childhood, I have seen radical changes in the lives of the Indian people. Information, technology and communications have played an important role in this process. Gone are the days when you had to queue in front of government offices to get authorization for a telephone connection. Today, a mobile phone is seen even among daily wage workers. There is a technical revolution happening in India. Sky Crappers, overpasses, and 6- and 8-way highways can be seen throughout the country. I want to be part of the process that takes India on its march upwards and forwards. Firstly I want to gain knowledge and obtain qualifications in the field of construction management. I have done well throughout my academic career with 88.16% in 10th standard, 91.5% in 12th standard and an aggregate CGPA of 8.74 so far in the undergraduate program. I have had an introduction to several civil engineering courses including, but not limited to, concrete technology, construction materials and building construction, planning and drawing, surveying, fluid mechanics, mechanical engineering, structural analysis, environmental engineering, RCC , geotechnical engineering, soil Mechanical and water resources engineering. I was judged the fourth best student at the end of the third year of my undergraduate degree and won a certificate of appreciation at the college. I've always wanted to work on real-time projects. I did a project on hydropower project planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project. Our project basically revolves around the planning, scheduling and control of hy......middle of paper......the arts, music, dance or singing. I participated in several sports, including aerobics, swimming and badminton. With the above background, I have my sights set on pursuing a world-class research-oriented program. I want to do a Masters in Construction Management and continue doing research in the same field. I find that the Faculty team at ------------------- is very active in research. I am particularly interested in the works done by Dr. XXXXXX, Dr.XXXXXXX as I am very eager to learn from such scholars. I firmly believe that ------university would be the right place for me to march towards my position as an eminent researcher. I am aware that the realization of my aspiration requires enormous dedication. As someone who wants to be an amazing place in a few years, I am ready to give up free time and persevere to make my dream come true..
