My entire freshman year I took ESE classes, which meant I was too slow to attend regular classes, which hurt my self-esteem, growing up, not the I understood enough of the things that were explained to me and in primary school I was in a class of 35-40 children with only one teacher. I tried to keep up with the other kids in class, but I could never keep up with them, so my parents pulled me out and put me in a progressive school because they thought it would be a better fit for them.
