Human Capital ManagementTypically a process managed by human resources within an organisation, this is a very important element to the success of a company. Talented people can, and usually are, the greatest asset a company has. The ability to recruit, retain and maintain these individuals at a high level can be complicated and costly. The HCM process involves all activities related to hiring new employees, managing the careers of those employees while they work at the company, and the possible loss of those employees from the workforce due to retirement or layoff.
