One little part that struck me that I didn't like was how Ben described the church as his lover at the beginning of chapter one. Not my favorite choice of words, but I didn't entirely like it because I saw where he was coming from when he made this point. Also, after hearing other people's opinions on the book, this part was something that a lot of people complained about and might have affected my opinion on it. Ben makes many points in the book that make the reader think and does not impose his opinions on readers; he simply provides his findings on what he has researched and how he has applied them to his personal and work life. I didn't like some of the decisions he made in his life, but it was those decisions that led him to do his research and improve his life. I didn't like the decisions because they were choices I wouldn't have made, but he's not me and I'm not him. If he hadn't made the choices he made, the research he had gathered wouldn't have made it
