Topic > Analysis of a Child Named That by Dave Peltzer - 1148

For a long time Dave's teachers noticed that something was wrong with him. He behaved badly, came to school with bruises and lied. The teachers, administration, and nurses finally realized what was happening at Dave's home and reported the problem immediately. When Dave and his mother were questioned by the administration, his mother lied about his injuries; Dave would also lie because he knew that if he didn't, the beatings would get much worse. Therefore, the school did not report anything to the authorities. I believe that if a teacher notices a sign of abuse, the administration should do everything they can to figure out what is going on. They should also provide immediate help to the child. Children are not born to behave badly, such as stealing food from other children. There must be a reason behind their actions and teachers should observe carefully. This could change a child's life forever. This may also give that child a second chance to get better
