Introduction: Trade between China and the United States is a battle we all know the United States has been fighting for quite some time. This topic is very important in our clothing and textile industry. This is an ongoing process as the United States tries to figure out how to close the gap between imports and exports. The United States owes China billions of dollars due to the trade gap. Trade with China has thrown our country into a big hole that we won't be able to get out of in a few years. Americans sought new markets from which to purchase goods. Back then, China saw America as the land of opportunity, just like many others. China even modeled some of its political beliefs after Abraham Lincoln. In the 1800s some believed that China should be divided into colonies, but the United States believed that China should remain independent. This will increase jobs and growth in the United States. Incomes will increase thanks to the lower cost of goods. Along with this, exports of goods and services will increase. Overall, I believe the United States can regain control of this issue if it begins to implement new laws and regain the power China has had over us. No decision will be easy and this will create a big change in our economy to get us on the right path. The United States must choose what is most important and how committed it is to making these changes to fix the trade deficit. We Americans must be willing to support our country regardless of the impact, knowing that it will benefit us in the long run..
