Paranormal ActivityAny event or situation that occurs outside the realm of normality is considered paranormal activity. The word paranormal comes from the Latin word para meaning outside or beyond. Strange events that defy scientific principles are classified as paranormal. These events might include: hearing voices while alone, UFOs, and seeing ghosts. Many conspiracy theories have developed around the world. From ancient times to the present day there have been claims of paranormal activity. Although these beliefs have traveled around the world, many disagree. Astrology Astrology is basically a numerical message that is read based on the degree of the sun at birth. They are not the basic signs and suns that people commonly associate it with (Marks, 2013). According to Marks, astrology is basically made up of three components: houses, signs and planets. Marks wrote that each planet has a function, with each sign influencing how that planet functions and each house illustrating where each planet functions best. The astrologer reads horoscopes in many different ways, the simplest of which associates the date of birth with the person's life (Grabianowski, 2001). This form of horoscope reading is called sun sign study. It is the simplest way and you can find it in a newspaper. Grabianowski also stated that the sun sign at the time of conception should not be considered when reading/identifying a person's horoscope. He stated that the degree of the sun at the birth of the child will be the zodiac sign. There are many different methods and theories about astrology that have contributed to its research. In this situation these predictions are not declared. It clearly states that a situation will or will not be. Following these predictions he dismisses any reason that may contradict his predictions by stating that there are drawbacks because they are ultimately "hypotheses", or the fact that the astrologer may simply be making a mistake. It provides no direct answers that might dismiss astrology as a myth.
