He was very successful as the CEO of a huge event planning company and lived the luxurious life he always wanted during college. He had everything that defines a good life. He had been a very hard-working student with an admirable character and many of his peers saw him as their role model. His parents were very proud of him and many of his peers were impressed by his hard work and success. This story is about the life of Dave, who after earning a degree in Entrepreneurship became a successful entrepreneur as the owner of an international event planning company. The story also tells of how the business empire he had worked so long to create collapsed, fifteen years later. When Dave was young, he had a passion for business and soon after graduation, he was ready to do what he had always done. dreamed. With a loan from his parents he started his business as an event organizer. When he was twelve years old and growing up in Georgia, Dave and some of his friends organized events and competitions for the neighborhood kids. Since his first business had been a great success, Dave decided that event planning was the way to go, only this time doing it as his career. Since he was now mature and sure of what he wanted to achieve, the sky was the limit for him. He launched Evento as his company brand and the name under which he would operate. With the limited funds he had, Dave rented an apartment in the Los Angeles suburbs and his home doubled as an office. All the business needed was the phone and an internet connection to reach its target customers. He began his business as an organizer of local events such as weddings, religious functions, parties and funerals. His business… middle of the paper… in collaboration with security agents, the media had investigated and identified Dave and Bob as drug barons. On a cold Tuesday morning, Bob and Dave were at the docks receiving their barrel, which had been labeled as dog food. After customs clearance, security officers along with media personnel stormed the premises demanding that the barrels be opened. Amid protests from its owners, the container was opened and, to everyone's amazement, contained tons of narcotic substances such as cocaine and marijuana. With enough evidence to prosecute them, Bob and Dave were arrested, tried in court and sentenced to life in prison. His children were in court and watched sadly as their father was taken from the court, his wife sobbing silently. Fifteen years of hard work wasted, the Event collapses due to its owner's negative public image.
